Old Fisherman village
Duration: 2 hours
Route: Virpazar - Grmozur Island - Fishing village Seoca -
Fishing village Radus
Moving from Virpazar to Grmozur island, over "Seoca" - we find the oldest fishing village Radus, old stone architecture and completely natural bay. Radus is the deepest part of the Lake Skadar. His depth is up to 90 meters. Radus once was the village for catching bleak fish. Today in Radus you are able to see the old fishing equipment and how the fish actually caught at that time. Til Radus can be reached only by boat, and the interesting fact is that there is no document that bears witness to the year of construction of this small fishing village.

KARUC Old fisherman Village

The route itself is special. Floating near the peninsula "Lesendro", and between the smaller islets, entering the Karatuna river, beautiful
landscape of unspoiled nature accompanied by birds cormorants and white Heron, we take you to a fishing village Karuc. A small cove on the lake where once guarded the fishing gear. "Yesterday," and "Today" Karuc remained a fishing village.
It is characterized by a very old stone architecture.

As you already know the famous fiord Rijeka Crnojevic (Paul's side) is one of the largest fjords in the Balkans and one of the most beautiful Route on Lake Skadar. Sailing from Virpazar to peninsula Lesendro - Karatuna river - we detach into the channel towards the fjord of Rijeka and Rijeka Crnojevic (first royal capital of Montenegro).
This route is a true paradise for bird lovers and nature.
We come to Rijeka Crnojevic, the former capital of Montenegro.
Once in Rijeka producing and packing fish bleak (by the recipe of "Sardines").
Rijeka city also is an old stone architecture and the very popular old stone (Danilo) bridge. The bridge is a favorite spot for the professional photographer.
Rijeka Crnojevic really worth a visit and we are sure that you leave you breathless.

Moving from Virpazar to Lessendro over St. Geogre church - islands, we find the oldest Monastery Kom. Monastery Kom differs from other monasteries of the Skadar Lake because of its inaccessibility and special features. Built on the hill, surrounded with protective wall with two gates and having a bell - tower made of stone, it has a discrete cautious view over the whole lake. We highly recommend to visit this unique monastery.
